Kaarla Marlga

Kaarla Marlga translates in the Noongyar language to ‘Fire’ and ‘Thunder’. Our dance encapsulates the life cycle of a bushfire and the devastating effects. In order for our piece to be diverse, we collaborated digitally with the Moortditj Mob to incorporate traditional Aboriginal movements.

“Simple yet very effective costuming, well planned and rehearsed choreography and a clear narrative make this story enjoyable to watch” – Sarah Harmony
